Humanity

I’ve never seen the poetic value in referring to us all as ‘mankind’.

I much prefer ‘humanity’,

Because not only does it describe all of us,

Every gender,

Color,

Age,

But it also describes the condition which every one of us suffers from,

Hedonism,

Mortality,

Humanity.
